Chrindi – Stockhorn (plaisir)

Bern, CH

Until now, only the super buff and hardcore elite would venture out at the Stockhorn train mid station to cut their teeth on the hard routes on the Walpersbergfluh. Thanks to the generous efforts of Markus Iff, Res Leibundgut, and Raphael Schmid, there are now a nice selection of Plaisir offerings at the “Chrindi”. The lines follow compact water worn runnels and precision footwork is required. A very beautiful crag, a nice beginner climbing trail, and even exposed multi pitch routes with awesome views down to the Lake of Thun await you one train stop higher up….on the summit of the Stockhorn!
