Tazka Crag

This excellent little sport crag is located just minutes from the parking spot at the end of the Tazka road. It is well bolted with modern expansion bolts, and now represents Tafraout’s best venue for low- to mid-grade bolt clipping. The crag is a bit of a sun trap, but the right-hand face does go into shade around mid-afternoon and can provide a welcome escape from the usual heat. First ascent details for this crag are not known, and so names have been applied retrospectively in order to avoid an entire crag of ‘unnamed’ routes – if you have any more information about these climbs then please get in touch so that we can update future editions.
