Plagne (extrem)

Boris Girardin and other route developers have put up many routes on the walls above the concrete factory. It is now the largest collection of crags in the entire Jura. He really did an amazing job equipping these lines to perfection and excavating landings and marking the approaches. Due to every sector facing west, you will find pretty good climbing conditions even on warm days in the morning. At the top, take advantage of the wonderful sunset views (don’t forget snacks for a little picnic). Unfor-tunately, the nearby stone quarry detracts from the ambience and rock quality isn’t always the best.
