Martell

The crag in Martell is one of the newest in the Vinschgau region and consists of a total of five sectors, with one sector being set up directly on the dam of the Zufritt Reservoir. The other sectors are located in the forest, facing to the west and are a very interesting and diverse climbing area for the summer months. On the vertical to overhanging walls you find mainly cracks, crimps and side holds. In the sector Ofenwand you can also climb in the rain, although after several rainy days the wetness penetrates from the cracks. The new sector Grotte is rainproof and dry even after rainy days, but more suitable for advanced climbers than beginners and children.
