Haldenstein (plaisir)

Ostschweiz,

Steep slab climbing on little edges make this place a real testing ground for your head as well as your feet. Henry Barber visited in 1978 and red pointed the “Plattenwand”. Since then, this route marks a milestone in the history of free climbing. The casual approach, the plethora of easy routes, and the family friendly environment make this crag a popular destination. A few of the routes are a bit greasy. Thanks to Bernhard Fallet, he organized an area wide retrofitting project in 2012.
