Punta Espadelles

Situated at an altitude of almost 600m, the magnificent, unbroken line of cliffs stretching for more than 1km and known collectively as ‘Les Espadelles’ is probably Margalef’s most important climbing area. Here you can find everything from IV+ to 9a! Due to the altitude and general orientation Les Espadelles is at its best on sunny mid-winter days, when the lower sectors may be shaded or fog-bound. __Orientation:__ faces southeast, so is shaded from mid-afternoon.
