The Satellite

AKA “Peck’s Peninsula” or simply “The Ridge”, this small canyon hidden by tall Ponderosas is a refuge from the heat of the Pond, accessible roughly from mid Apr-Nov, although still too hot for mid summer bouldering. There are a handful of quality lines here — mostly hard — but unfortunately the rock tends to be on the softer side and so the number of decent problems remains very limited. Bring strong fingers and tough skin as nearly all of the decent lines are super crimpy.
