St-Loup (extrem)

Jura - Switzerland,

St-Loup is internationally recognised as one of the best climbing areas in Switzerland. Top climbers from all over the world journey here to test their mettle on these finger wrenching vertical slab problems up idyllic walls. Most of these hard classics were created and equipped by the brothers Fred and Francois Nicole as well as David Hohl. Fred climbed “Bain de sang” in 1993 and it was the third 9a route done anywhere in the world. “Action Direct” (Wolfgang Gullig, 91) and “Om” (Alexander Huber, 92) being the previous 9a routes done. Cool sending temps on these mega highly technical challenging routes will definitely help.
