Fairfield Hill

Fremont County, US

The Fairfield Hill cli is the western most developed dolomite cliff in Sinks Canyon. Fairfield has always been the black sheep of Sinks Canyon climbing. Although climbing here has paralleled that of the Main Wall, it has received only a fraction the traffic. Development here has included several climbers, but well over half of the 100+ climbs were established by Bob Branscomb. His efforts, and the efforts of Ed Delong, Paul Piana, Dave Doll, and a few others have created one of the finest crags in Wyoming.
