Gibbon Roof

This crag was discovered by Spanish climbers 15 years ago, only 3 routes were partially bolted with expansion bolts and hangers. Railay climbing community agreed its wasn’t safe, than removed all the bolts. Until March 2014 the crag was discovered by Simon Talltorp and reopened as Gibbon Roof" it got the name from during the bolting, there were white Gibbons climbing and jumping from tree to tree. White rock, overhanging roof climbs, beware of mosquitos. Shade all day, best to climb from 10 am to 15.00 pm.
