Hoces de Vegacervera is the premier climbing area in the region, with over seventy itineraries divided into three sectors. Rincon has an excellent (mostly sixth grade), lengthy wall. Although be aware of the need of 70 m of rope. The Belvedere sector has a wide array of routes and grades. The left-hand side of the Dorado sector is the most difficult part. In general they are vertical and overhanging routes, and almost all require 70m of rope on a premium limestone climb. Best season: In spring, summer and autumn. In winter it can be quite cold, yet can be climbed on sunny days until noon. In summer the shade appears from 16:00 onwards.
