Rappenfels (extrem)

A rediscovery in the Basel Jura! Although earlier climber interest had waned, Rappenfels now sees a fair amount of traffic. No wonder because you soon learn that with its steep athletic climbing, it is exactly what today’s climber is looking for. It is a welcome change from the regular routine elsewhere in the Jura. The routes near the “Salut Phil” area stay shady the longest.
