Čiritež

Čiritež is a collection of spectacular crags near Roč, which upon visit turns out a little lacking. At the end of 90s Ivica Brajković and Klaudio Šćulac from Pazin began bolting here, and a decade later the potential was noted by Leo Baumgartner, who continued their work. Hollywood seems the best, but is still work in progress and will, supposedly due to bad rock quality, never be finished. Sunset rock is lower, but has a nice selection of (mainly) easier routes, while at the moment the best is Rock‘n‘Roč, which caters to the better climbers, although you quickly run out of routes. But for a few visits Čiritež is a mandatory visit in the region.
