Il Mattatoio / Cadaverificio

Trentino, IT

This crag is known as the “Mattatoio” (slaugtherhouse) to most climbers. The name of the place comes from the numerous animal bones at the base of the wall. The wall offers varied endurance climbing on an overhang with a final roof, which allows for climbing during the rain. The central and left routes are particularly nice and feature excellent rock. The crag was bolted by Massimo Faletti, Marco Molinari, Federico Zendron and Daniele Giacomi.
