Rocca di Perti - Settore Settentrionale

Liguria, IT

This is the highest sector of the entire cliff with a height of almost 150 meters. It is therefore logical that numerous routes with alpine characteristics were opened up here in 70s. These include routes like Mariangela and Il Vecchio which were destined to become classic and are nowadays still appreciated. During the period of the pilasters routes were put up following the cracks and dihedrals like the legendary extraordinarily beautiful route Spit Surf 7a+ which wake you up and which is up to today still feared. Then follows a series of very beautiful routes in the 6th grade from E.T. to Scrapizza and continues with the more recent routes in the 7th grade like Innuendo and Attimo Fuggente to finally arrive at a new sector on the far right which was bolted in the last couple of years. On the right side of the section two more sections have recently been added: the Tre Solai, wedged right above the small entrance cave of the Via del Vecchio, with a nice vertical wall, and the slab Tre Porcellini on the far right of the area. This last section immediately became a very popular, thanks to the routes (easy to medium level, also multipitch) and the good rock; it was bolted by the local climbers Franco Rolando and Stefano De Vecchi, more than a name a guarantee.
