Grande Cuckoo

Peloponnese, GR

__Grande Cuckoo__ is a small crag on an excellent, Verdon-quality low-angle or vertical compact grey slab. __Climbing__ On 11 balancy, steep, and slabby routes up to 30m long graded mainly between 6a and 6b+. It is technical, fingery wall climbing at its best, and there are a few tufa columns, too. Many sharp drip holes (gouttes) can be used as holds and/or footholds. Footwork can be “fancy” and precise: now is the time to prove to your climbing shoes that you trust them. Routes were equipped as part of the AOS Project in 2013/14. __Gear__ A single 60m rope + 15 QDs. __Conditions__ Hot. Best for cloudy days in spring and autumn, and for sunny days in winter. __Shade (Exposure: S)__ Never. __Kids__ Good.
