Göscheneralp (Extrem)

Most of the time these little granite walls remain well hidden in the Goscheneralp woods. For example in Section «Dark side», only a handful of routes get occasional traffic, but the classic crack climb “Power Explosion” is incredible. In Section “Geissenwand” the routes follow flaring cracks and demand solid finger crack climbing techniques as well as ideal climbing temps are needed, too. With the wonderful campfire area it is a great locale for the whole family. At the end of the lake (Goscheneralpsee), a very nice playground is also available. If you still find yourself with a little more finger strength reserve, consider tweaking up the micro crimps on “Schwarzen Wand”. You won’t be disappointed!
