Chämiloch (plaisir)

Ostschweiz,

Martin Scheel wrote history with his route “Fledermaus” (8a). Not just because it was one of the hardest routes in Switzerland, but because it was climbed with chalk. Shortly thereafter, use of the white powder was banned. That was then, today you can chalk up all you want. Today this crag located between the freeway and the train tracks is very popular due to its easy access. Some routes show definite signs of traffic.
