Rian Cornei - Silenzio

This is for sure the nicest cliff of the Cornei and one of the nicest of the entire Finalese. For this reason it is one of the most hidden inaccessible places of the valley. Don’t bet on finding it at your first attempt. It is a long continuous crag with excellent rock and a breathtaking environment. The routes on the left on slabs and vertical walls are within the easy to medium grade range while the “real” sector lies on the right. It is big bulge with only quality routes. Not to be missed are routes like __Alicante__, __Monregalesi__, __Siddharta__ and the much courted routes __Franti__ and __Avaria__. The crag is best visited in winter. It is sheltered from the wind on windy days when the wind comes from the mountains.
