Alpstein - Kreuzberge (plaisir)

These majestic towers sit enthroned above the Rhein Valley and the geological process that formed them is evident. During your climb you continually enjoy phenomenal panoramic views of all of Eastern Switzerland. The best time of year to visit is summer and fall. Typically, most of the routes are rather spartanly equipped, so gear placement skills are important. Many routes have an alpine flavor. Early summer north side access can be tricky due to the lingering snow pack.
