Jolimont (plaisir)

Jura - Switzerland,

Nestled deep within the woods of the Jura, where the fox and rabbit still wish each other a good night, you will find the crags of Jolimont. Yan Blanchard began development in 2005. Always keenly on the look out for the best quality rock, Yan drilled only a portion of the impressive wall. Nine years later, Boris Girardin realized the potential and promptly drilled 40 more routes. Most of these routes are at the upper end of difficulty, and further complicated by exposed approaches plagued by loose rock. The notable exception to this is the “Principal” Sector. For cavers and those otherwise averse to the sunshine, the huge “Kathedrale” is awesome. Afterwards, the Auberge Jolimont invites you to a delicious Fondue or Rosti.
