Bosch Crag - Bosch Kloof

Bosch Kloof, without a doubt offers some of the best climbing in the whole of Montagu, and arguably in the Western Cape, between the grades of 17/5c and 22/6c. Scattered over a number of crags stretching up a beautiful kloof, Bosch Kloof is certainly one of my favourite hangouts in Montagu. Every crag has something special and unique to offer, with Bosch Crag giving some of the best 21s in the area. For the more adventurous, Skull Crag is a must, with a clutch of superb, long routes on a high wall at the head of the Kloof. The climbing is mostly of a vertical nature, with many routes close to 30 metres in length and some closer to 40 metres. And for beginners, Ramset Crag has some good single- and double-pitch routes as well as some harder stuff to keep you on your toes. A beautiful, vertical chocolate brown wall with a bunch of uber-classic routes.
