Orvin (plaisir)

The various walls are spread about in the woods above the picturesque town of Orvin. An array of single pitch to 4 pitch routes on high quality limestone are available. Thanks to the awesome work of local climbers/guidebook authors Christophe and Carine Devaux Girardin most of the routes are now retrofitted and well protected. As the valley is often under the thick Winter and Fall fog inversion layer, climbers often find wonderful weather and sending temps complete with panoramic views of the Bernese Alps.
